Our vision to open a communal creative studio that hosts the necessary working space, tools/equipment, and storage to help keep artists, makers, and creative types on their grind has been in somewhat of a hibernation. 🐻 😴

We had finished up our fundraiser on ifundwomen juuust as COVID-19 hit. The unjust murder of George Floyd redirected our attention and energy to more pressing matters as we spent time pausing, listening, and learning what we need to do to truly support our communities the best.

Opening a communal art space where everyone closely shares tools and space isn’t very ideal during a pandemic.😷As life and the situation on COVID-19 continues to progress we’re excited for process to resume on executing our vision. The need for an affordable community art space is stronger than ever.

Our goals for 2020, to host more fundraising events that connect both artists and community, have been quite obviously affected by the pandemic. We don’t have much to share as of late, for we don’t have much that’s popping right now.

As we figure out our next best steps, we’d love to do what we’d aspire to do best, which is supporting our community. Anything that we can repost, re-share, or get the word out on, etc. PLEASE LET US KNOW!
